Audio Restoration & Repair
Bad recordings fixed. Archives recovered. Sources you wrote off, salvaged.
If the audio exists, it can usually be fixed
Most audio problems are not the end of the recording. Noise, reverb, clipping, hum, crackle, interference - these are solvable problems with the right tools and the experience to use them correctly.
We work with iZotope RX - the industry standard for audio restoration and dialogue repair. Combined with a real signal chain and trained ears, this covers the majority of damage scenarios we encounter: podcast interviews recorded on speakerphone, voiceovers done in a live room by accident, archive recordings pulled from tape, corporate audio shot in a hard-walled conference room.
We will tell you honestly if something is not fixable. That is rare - but when it happens, we will tell you before you pay for work that cannot be done. Send us a sample and we will assess it before you commit.

- Clipped or overloaded recording that sounds distorted
- Archive tape transfer with crackle, dropout, degradation
- Conference room recording with flutter echo and resonance
- Multi-speaker recording with level inconsistencies
- Vinyl transfer with surface noise and damage artifacts
- Old digital files with compression artifacts

Archive and legacy recordings
Physical media in degrading condition - reel-to-reel, cassette, early digital formats - often contains irreplaceable material. Once the source degrades past a certain point, recovery becomes impossible. If you have archive recordings on aging physical media, the time to digitize and restore is now, not later.
We handle tape transfers and vinyl digitization alongside the restoration pass. The full chain: capture from the source at highest available fidelity, restoration processing to remove damage artifacts, archival WAV master delivered with full metadata. Optionally, a restored and remastered version for distribution or presentation.
This work applies to family archives, institutional collections, legacy band recordings, film and video audio, and any material that exists in a physical medium that will not last forever.
What we deliver
- Archival WAV master (unprocessed flat transfer)
- Restored WAV (with repair processing applied)
- MP3 listening copy
- Track-split files if needed
- Metadata tagged to your specifications
- Assessment report available on request
