Keep Your Low End Honest.
Speaker Breaker watches the spectral balance of your signal in real time and automatically corrects when the low-frequency bands dominate. Not gain reduction. Not a limiter. A constant read on whether your sub, kick, and bass are pulling things out of balance - and a correction that pulls them back, transparently. Use it on individual tracks, a drum or bass bus, the 2-bus, or the master chain.

Core Feature
Spectral Balance. Automatic.
Speaker Breaker analyzes five frequency bands relative to the overall signal level - not relative to a fixed threshold. When a band climbs too close to the full-band level, the processor applies a peak correction at that frequency. The result is a mix that translates cleanly across playback systems without the low end running away.
- Sub - Deep bass foundation monitoring and correction
- Kick - Punch and attack region control
- Bass - Core low-mid body and weight
- Upper Bass - Low-mid character and warmth
- Mid - Presence and forward balance
Control
Three Contours. One Blend Knob.
The Contour switch sets how aggressively each band is monitored. Warm gives the low end more room to breathe before correction kicks in. Neutral hits the center position most mixes need. Open pulls in earlier, keeping the bottom cleaner for dense productions. The Blend knob runs the entire correction chain in parallel - anywhere from a hint to full effect.
- Warm - Relaxed thresholds, lets the low end develop naturally
- Neutral - Balanced correction across all five bands
- Open - Tighter thresholds, cleaner low-end translation
- Blend - Parallel mix of the full correction chain
Metering
Watch It Work.
Dual analog-style VU meters give you a real-time read of input and output level with proper ballistics. When Speaker Breaker is actively correcting a band, the pilot light engages - a direct visual confirmation that the processor caught something and acted. You see exactly when the spectral balance is being brought back into line.
