Alternate Timeline

Alternate Timeline puts six decades of mastering character into a single processor. Pick the era, set the blend, and dial in the tone. Each setting applies the EQ curve, compression behavior, and harmonic profile of that era’s best rooms – not a simulation of a simulation.

Six Eras

• 1960s – Warm, rounded, subtle harmonic saturation
• 1970s – Open high end, natural tape limiting character
• 1980s – Punchy mids, fast attack, studio clarity
• 1990s – High-definition presence, extended top end
• 2000s – Dense, aggressive, maximum loudness density
• Modern – Transparent, wide, streaming-optimized

Controls

• Blend – Parallel mix of the full processing chain
• Comp – Era-matched compression depth
• Bottom / Middle / Top – Three-band tonal shaping
• Limiter – Transparent output ceiling
• Output – Final level trim
