There's low end you want to feel. Then there's low end you can't hear, can't use, and somehow still have to make room for. Ground Control helps you tell them apart.
Its dynamic subsonic limiter watches energy at the very bottom of the signal and steps in when that energy gets out of line. When the low end behaves, the limiter backs off. You can control stray excursions without automatically thinning every kick, bass note, and synth that passes through the plugin.
The Bass May Stay. The Structural Damage May Not.
Set Threshold, dial in Release or flip on Auto-Release, and watch the reduction meter show you exactly when Ground Control steps in. A healthy low end doesn't have to spend the whole song behind a high-pass filter.
Try Ground Control FreeNo account required - we send the link to your email. Silences briefly every 30 seconds in demo mode.
Call Security Only When You Need It
Set Threshold for the amount of sub-bass you're willing to tolerate. Release controls how the limiter recovers, from 50 to 1500 ms; Auto-Release adjusts the recovery to the material. A reduction meter shows when Ground Control is actually working, and Mix lets you blend the result with the original signal.
For Persistent Trouble, Close the Floor
The separate high-pass filter handles problems that don't come and go: room rumble, handling noise, turntable or transfer debris, and other low-frequency clutter. Set the corner anywhere from 5 to 60Hz, select a 6, 12, or 24dB/octave slope, or switch the filter Off. DC Removal is its own switch, clearing offset before the filter and limiter ever touch the signal.
