That Sounds Good. Do It Again.

There is something magical about a good tape echo.

Warm Repeats is a free multi-head tape echo with three selectable tape heads, seven head patterns, and an independent spring reverb running right alongside it, not stacked on top. Choose Fresh or Worn tape, shape the feedback path as it travels, and turn up Intensity when you're in the mood for a little beautiful trouble. Twenty-two presets are waiting.

Rich repeats. A real spring tank. Absolutely no bill.

Free. No account, no activation, no expiry.

Three Heads. One Spring. Zero Dollars.

Patch it on a send or drop it straight on a track, pick a head pattern, and push Intensity until the repeats start talking back. Then flip Tape Age to Worn and listen to the same echo turn into something that's clearly been through a few things.

Three Heads, Seven Patterns

Short, Medium, Long. Or All Three at Once.

Every tape echo lives or dies by its heads, and Warm Repeats gives you three: Short, Medium, and Long. Select one on its own for a clean, single repeat, or combine them in any of seven patterns for interlocking rhythms that a single-tap delay can't touch.

Repeat Rate sets the base timing, from tight slapback to long, rolling space. Intensity decides how long the conversation continues - and past 100% the feedback path genuinely self-oscillates, the way the real units did at the top of their travel. Nobody is holding your hand on the way up.

Three heads. Plenty of possibilities:

  • Head Pattern - 7 combinations of Short, Medium, and Long
  • Repeat Rate - 40-900ms, tight rhythms to rolling echoes
  • Intensity - 0-115%, self-oscillating past unity

Every Repeat Has a Story

The Magic Happens on the Way Back.

Warm Repeats puts its tape-head character directly inside the feedback path, not off to the side as a filter. Wow, flutter, warmth, and a little saturation build naturally as repeats recirculate, while Bass and Treble shape the sound on every pass.

Flip the Tape Age switch for a tighter, cleaner response with a little movement, or let Worn bring extra flutter and a faster roll-off of the high end - repeats with a well-loved, late-night character. One switch, two very different moods. Neither requires finding a pencil to wind the tape back into its cassette.

Shape the journey, not just the first echo:

  • Tape Age - Fresh or Worn, two distinct personalities
  • Bass / Treble - ±12dB shelving on the feedback path
  • Compounding character - every repeat carries the last one's coloring

A Real Spring, Running Alongside

Then Add a Little Spring.

A dedicated spring reverb runs in parallel with the tape echo - not layered on after it - adding a lively, short, metallic splash of space the way a real spring tank sounds, not a plate standing in for one. Echo Level and Reverb Level balance the two engines independently, while Mix brings the complete sound into your track.

Twenty-two factory presets cover the range: tasteful doubling and slapback, dub-style long feedback washes, full self-oscillating drones, and everything in between. Every one is built from the real controls, so there's always somewhere further to push from where a preset leaves off.

A lovely way to give a guitar more attitude, send a vocal into the distance, or make a synth line dance around itself:

  • Echo Level / Reverb Level - 0-100% each, balanced independently
  • Mix - 0-100%, blends the combined wet signal against dry
  • 22 factory presets - slapback, dub, drone, doubling, and more
