The Curve Everyone's Been Chasing.

Boost and cut the same frequency at once. It shouldn't work - that's exactly why it sounds incredible.

Curve Appeal is a dual tube program equalizer built around two specific, well-documented circuit tricks instead of a generic parametric EQ wearing a vintage skin. The low Boost and Atten controls interact instead of cancelling, the High Boost and High Atten sections run fully independent of each other, and a tube-style output stage colors everything on the way out. Four VU meters watch every move.

Thick. Huge. Nine dollars.

"Thick, huge and closest to the hardware units than any I've heard."

- Philippe W., Producer / Engineer · Paris, France

Four Meters. Two Bands. One Legendary Shape.

Boost and cut the low end together and listen to it get big and tight instead of cancelling out. Then flip High Frequency to one of the two shelf positions and hear the top end open up completely differently than the peaking positions.

The Low End Doesn't Null

Boost and Cut Together. On Purpose.

On a normal EQ, boosting and cutting the same frequency cancels out. Curve Appeal's Low Boost and Low Atten aren't a single net-gain knob pretending to be two controls - they're two separate networks that interact instead of fighting to zero, so running both together produces a resonant hump: a lift that holds its weight while the companion control keeps it from getting boomy.

Low Frequency selects where that interaction happens - 30, 40, 70, or 100 Hz - and every setting behaves a little differently, the same way the real circuit does.

  • Low Frequency - 30 / 40 / 70 / 100 Hz, shared corner for Boost and Atten
  • Low Boost / Low Atten - Interacting, non-nulling low shelf network
  • Big and tight - the classic low-end trick, built in, not simulated after the fact

Two Unrelated Top-End Sections

Peak Here. Shelve There. Completely Independently.

High Boost is a true peaking filter with its own eleven-position frequency switch and its own Bandwidth control - nine peaking positions plus two dedicated shelf positions where the section switches character entirely. High Atten is a separate shelf with its own three-position frequency choice. They're not the same control doing double duty - boost a peak at one frequency while shelving everything above a completely different one.

Bandwidth goes from sharp to broad on the High Boost peak only, so you can dial in anything from a surgical lift to a wide, musical swell.

  • High Frequency - 11 positions: 1/2/3/4/5/8/10/12/16 kHz peaking, plus 5 kHz and 10 kHz shelf
  • Bandwidth - Sharp to broad, High Boost peak only
  • High Atten - Independent shelf, 5/10/20 kHz select

Four Meters. One Tube Stage.

Watch Every Move. Hear Every Pass.

A tube-style output stage follows the passive network on every signal path, compensating for the EQ's natural insertion loss and adding real harmonic color on the way out - not a cosmetic "warmth" switch, just how the circuit behaves. Four illuminated VU meters - Input and Output, left and right - watch the signal the whole way through.

Twenty factory presets cover vocal presence, low-end weight, mix bus polish, mastering touch, and a few settings that get gloriously out of hand. Every one is a real starting point built from the actual controls.

  • Four VU meters - Input L/R, Output L/R, always visible
  • Tube output stage - fixed, always-on, carries the circuit's real color
  • 20 factory presets - vocal, bass, drums, mix bus, mastering, and beyond
