Your Spice Rack Has a Suspiciously Large Engage Button.

Some people add a pinch of thyme. You bought a plugin and dumped it on the drum bus.

Hold the big Engage button and the audio drops to half speed, a third, a quarter or three quarters, with the pitch following the speed like a tape deck. Let go and it speeds back up. This is what happens when the seasoning instructions just say "trust me."

The audio stays slowed for as long as you hold Engage. A tasteful sprinkle for a transition. The entire spice rack for a breakdown. Engage is an automatable parameter, so you can season live or draw the whole incident into your DAW. No tiny jar. No clogged shaker lid. No celebrity chef leaning over your shoulder asking whether you've tasted the snare.

Hold it for a very long time and it resyncs itself at 12 seconds to keep things running properly. Even we put a lid on it eventually. With nothing engaged, the audio passes through untouched. Sometimes the track already has enough thyme. Allegedly.

VU meter

Season Irresponsibly.

A fully functional demo is available with no account required. It runs the full plugin and goes quiet for 2 seconds every 30 seconds. That's the demo restriction. Please stop shaking the speakers.

The Spice Rack

A Pinch, a Handful, or Who Took the Lid Off?

The audio stays slowed for as long as you hold Engage, timed by Slow Time on the way down and Return Time on the way back, sprinkle it gradually or administer the thyme all at once. Curve picks Linear or Exponential, two ways to tip the jar, neither requiring a televised explanation of your creative journey.

  • Speed - 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 or 3/4 of normal speed. A pinch, a handful or "who took the lid off?"
  • Slow Time - how long the slowdown takes, 50 ms to 4 s, or synced to the host from a 1/16 note to 2 bars
  • Return Time - how long the speed-up takes, with the same ranges. Controls how quickly everyone recovers from your seasoning decisions
  • Curve - Linear or Exponential

Land On, Recover, Output and Color

Reckless Seasoning. Punctual Delivery.

Land On times the speed up so full speed arrives exactly on a 1/4, 1/2 or 1 bar grid line, using the host's own bar and time signature. Recover decides how you get back there: Snap crossfades back to the live signal in about 30 ms, Nudge runs 10 percent fast until it catches up. Put the thyme down quickly or hustle back to the beat.

  • Land On - Off, 1/4, 1/2 or 1 bar of the host
  • Recover - Snap or Nudge
  • Output - ±12 dB, because "more thyme" and "louder" are separate instructions
  • Color - changes the whole faceplate to any hue. Coordinate with your spice rack. We've lost the authority to judge

Watch It Work

Read the Label Before You Shake.

Two speed meters show the playback speed of the left and right channels. Slow Time and Return Time readouts show seconds or note values, and a stereo VU reads the output. You can see exactly what your generous application of thyme is doing. The judges may look concerned. The meters remain professional.

  • Speed meters - Left and right playback speed, live
  • Readouts - Slow Time and Return Time
  • Stereo VU - Output level, left and right

Season Like Nobody's Scoring You

Season Like Nobody's Scoring You.

Hold Engage through the drop and the whole mix sits at half speed, heavy and slow. Let go with Land On set to a bar line and the music returns exactly on the beat. That's your signature thyme move. Practice it until an imaginary television chef folds their arms and demands a rematch.

Choose quarter speed when the breakdown needs enough thyme to trigger a stock check. Choose three quarters for a lighter sprinkle. Pick Snap for a quick crossfade back to live, or Nudge for a brief catch-up. Season the drums. Season the bass. Season the whole mix. Somewhere, a panel of imaginary judges is saying "the thyme is a little forward," and you're reaching for the jar again.

Ten factory presets, A/B comparison and your own saves live on the preset bar. Compare a restrained sprinkle with the version where you sneezed into the jar. The Power switch turns the panel dark and passes the audio through untouched, and the window resizes from the corner. Finally, a spice rack that fits on your screen.
