Dynamic, Not a Static EQ Cut
Clear watches a band around 250-400 Hz and cuts into it dynamically as that energy builds, instead of carving a fixed EQ notch that's always there whether the bus needs it or not. A compressor with the sidechain high-passed at 120 Hz glues everything together behind it.

Sheen runs a fixed high-shelf with a light, fixed-drive saturation applied only to the boosted top end - so pushing it adds air and silk instead of brightening and hardening the whole signal.
